Step into Scoop & Sketch presents a bold, high-energy interior best described as Neon Pop Art or Retro-Vaporwave with a nod to the American Diner and Arcade Bar aesthetic that defies all norms.
The design intentionally eschews modern minimalist trends for a highly maximalist and cartoonish atmosphere, making it a vibrant backdrop for social interaction and late-night visits.

The key feature is the strategic use of high-contrast, hyper-saturated colours like neon red/pink, electric blue, sunny yellow/orange, and lime green painting all from Nippon paint. This combination, especially under neon and purple UV lighting, creates a striking, otherworldly glow. Neon signs and brightly coloured LED strip lighting are central to the mood, bathing the space in a dynamic, nighttime glow. The exterior neon signage for "Scoop & Sketch!" immediately establishes the playful, bold tone.

For Styling wise the furniture chosen for this project is functional yet distinct, featuring red padded stools with chrome bases reminiscent of retro diners and playful outdoor seating. Arcade Machines Darts are illuminated by vertical neon strips, reinforcing the arcade bar or retro entertainment vibe. Shelves feature a collection of colourful Maneki-Neko statues, injecting an East Asian pop culture/kitschy element. A corner displays board games, card games "What Do You Meme?", and quirky merchandise against a red pegboard, simulating a vibrant, small-scale "papa shop" or convenience store.

This cafe concept real draw is on the second level diners can sit near the semi-open parlour to watch a live tattoo session while enjoying their dessert. It's the ultimate art and dessert experience!
